As someone who loves horror and thriller films, being cast in SOOT, a horror movie, was so exciting for me! The film revolves around three flatmates who have recently moved into a new student house, following the death of their fourth flatmate. Each of them deals with their grief in their own way, but it soon becomes clear that there's something haunting the house - strange noises that seem to be coming from the walls and chimney. As the noises drive Gabriel to the brink of madness, she becomes the one desperately trying to hold the house together.
One of the most challenging scenes for me was a panic attack sequence, as it required a delicate balance between portraying the character's inner turmoil while still making it compelling for the audience. It was an incredible experience to work through this scene and figure out how to make it work on camera.
