In September, my exciting journey with Red Door Yellow Door began when I participated in a table read event. The event brought together a talented group of writers, producers, directors, and actors like myself. As actors, we were randomly selected to read characters from various scripts, allowing the team to hear the dialogue and assess if any revisions were necessary. Little did I know that this event would lead to an unexpected audition opportunity for a short film called 'Red Door Yellow Door' (RDYD).
To my delight, I landed the role of 'Charlotte' in RDYD, and filming commenced in November, just two days after celebrating my 21st birthday. The experience of being part of this horror film was nothing short of amazing. RDYD revolves around the story of three girls who embark on a sleepover trip to a secluded cabin in the woods. It takes an unexpected turn when they decide to play the game of RDYD, unwittingly opening the wrong door and unleashing a faceless man monster into the world. To make matters even more chilling, this terrifying creature disguises itself as Lyra's deceased father.
